All of our hand-made hair wefts receive expert meticulous workmanship, and are durable, strong, flexible and deliver natural beauty.
Virgin Russian hair is hair that has not been dyed, bleached, permed, straightened, nor chemically treated in any way. Its 100% natural quality prevents damage to the cuticles which is responsible for providing maximum hair protection.
Coloured European hair is hair sourced from European donors and has undergone a preliminary colouring process. Compared to Virgin Russian, it offers a wider array of tones and textures.

Remy Wefts
Honeycombe Remy Hair Extensions are crafted from the highest quality, double drawn 100% Remy human hair.
Remy Hair: includes full set of hair (2 rows), installation, cut and style.
Can be selected from a wide range of pre-coloured Remy hair. It is ready to go.
You need to be more careful with Remy hair because it has already been chemically treated/coloured. Therefore it doesn’t like chlorine, salt water or pool/spa chemicals or bore water.
Tips: Tie hair up if swimming so as not to damage. Use gentle shampoos & conditioners (sulphate free) preferably Kerastase.
Do not colour Remy Hair.

Clip-in Extensions
Honeycombe Clip in Hair Extensions are crafted from the highest quality, double drawn 100% Remy human hair. They are easy to style, easy to maintain and look fantastic.
Our premium Clip in Remy hair extensions are great for brides, bridesmaids, debutantes and formals, fashion shoots, models and party or festival goers or for any weekend wear or special occasion.
Clip-Ins Custom made to suit your specifications. Suitable for special occasions – weddings, parties, graduations, debs, bridesmaids.
Clip-ins are best used for a short time e.g. 2 days maximum at a time. (It is best to use extensions for full-time wear)
Price: $360 per set (2 rows of clip-ins)
Extras: For additional clip-in education and dry cut/blend only (no shampoo/heat styling) $60. Extra rows $180 per row
Steps to your new hair
Step 1 – Booking
Book a 30-minute consultation with your Melbourne hair extension specialist, Alison.
You can book an appointment either by credit card over the phone or by using the Book Now button below.
Step 2 – Consulatation
During consultation Alison will:
- Discuss your requirements, including wefts, cut and colour.
- Examine your hair and scalp condition.
- Advise which hair best suits your lifestyle and other individual requirements, and
- Advise on ongoing care and maintenance program to maximise the longevity and condition of extensions and natural hair.
Step 3 – Quote
A written quote will be provided at the end of the consultation. Quotes include the cost of the extensions, installation, cut and colour.
To proceed with securing your new extension hair order, Honeycombe requires clients to pay a 50% deposit of the total quote at this point.
Step 4 – Weft creation
Our in-house customised weft making generally takes from one to three weeks.
Please contact us if you have special time-pressures, we can often accommodate such cases.
Step 5 – Installation
The initial installation process generally requires between 2 to 5 hours, and normally includes:
- fitting your extensions
- optional colour treatment
- cutting and styling
- care and maintenance education
Because of the significant time allocated by the Salon for this procedure, if the client cancels this session, they will incur a fee of $50 per hour. (e.g. cancellation of 3 hour appointment is $150. Clients will appreciate that this time/cost could not be recovered by the Salon)
Optional – Follow-up
It is suggested that first time Hair Extension clients book a follow-up session after a week or two to have a blow wave and styling session and conditioning treatment (especially blondes or those who have had colour work).
This will help to answer any questions that come up around maintenance and allow your Extensionist to monitor the way you are handling your new hair. This session is always helpful because it is not until you have worn your new extensions that questions usually arise. It is better to get on top of handling and styling issues at the beginning.
Step 6 – Maintenance and Reinstallation
In order to maintain and look after your hair extensions and your own hair it is important to try to have your hair reinstalled every (5-7 weeks). The timing will depend on your natural hair growth patterns and hair cut/colour requirements.
The benefit of returning to Honeycombe is that your hair will last longer, your natural hair will be healthier and your hair will feel more comfortable.
